The Gaja Barbaresco comes from vineyards owned 14 ' located in the towns of Barbaresco and Treiso . This wine is fermented for a period ranging from 2 to 4 weeks, then stop for six months in French oak barrels and then is allowed to rest for 12-20 months in Slavonian oak casks large capacity ' .
The wines gaja have a great capacity ' of aging and bottles of more than 30 years they are still able to express mellow and soft hints of ripe fruit .
